I believe that this web site, Ted.com, may be helpful as part of your tools to practice your English. It has lots of inspirational messages in written form as well as the audio and video. There are a lot of small stories so you can start and stop often. For example, this one is about penguins
Check out this animation of the Hudson River Landing that Normy sent. It gives you a much better understanding of how fast it all happen. Note the immediate loss of altitude, along with the recovery to a "best" glide path.

You download an emulator from this site: Video Games Emulators which plays the games. That is pretty much the video game system for the computer. And you download the roms from this site: Old Video Games: Pacman etc you can only download games from old systems so you cant get xbox, ps2 and gamecube games but all the classics are good to go.
